Stage One
Initial
Consultation.

During our first meeting, we will discuss your project and take the time to get to know more about you, so that we can get a better understanding of your design ideas and overall vision. We will also take the time to go over our entire design and build process with you and to answer any questions you might have.

At this time, we will also go over budgets and expectations to ensure that you are completely comfortable with the budget range and to make sure that we are on the same page. Thanks to our innovative estimating software, cost-plus pricing, and open-book format, we will be able to provide you with an extremely accurate estimate for your new home, addition, or renovation project.

Stage Two
Preconstruction.

Once you have selected Stattonrock to be your builder, we will sign a preconstruction agreement that outlines our custom home building experience, key dates, and deadlines. Our goal in signing this agreement is to expedite the process of getting a building permit in hand, so that we can start designing and building your project as soon as possible.

Before we start building, our chief drafting designer and interior designers will work closely with you to help make all design decisions up front, preventing any surprises down the road. Having everything planned out in advance will also allow our in-house drafting designer to determine the design and layout of your home, which will let us accurately estimate a budget for the finalized plan. Once we have an agreed upon plan for your new home, we will finalize the estimate and submit the plans for review by engineers, geotechs, septic designers, and other professionals.

After the plans are reviewed and approved, we will submit all of the required documents for approval to the municipality where your project will take place and we will finalize the build schedule—assigning subtrades and employees who we deem to be a good fit with you to work on your project.

Stage Three
Build.

Throughout the entire home building process, our team will work hard to ensure that your budget and vision is being met. Our team will also maintain communication with you, giving you the opportunity to ask questions or provide input at any point. While we are building, you can also monitor the progress of your project and see up-to-date costs by using our easy-to-use online software.

Stage Four
Post Construction.

Even after your design and build project is complete, we will still take the time to answer any questions you might have.
