Red Seal Carpenter, CEO + Owner
Ever since he can remember, Dan Dueck has been on job sites with his family’s business. By the time he was 11 years old, he was moving lumber and cleaning full-time during the summers.
After completing high school, he continued working in construction in the Fraser Valley with various companies. In addition to his on-the-job experience, he became certified as a Interprovincial Red Seal Carpenter.
Stattonrock was started in 2007 when Dan wanted to take on the challenges that come with being a small business owner. Determined to make his own way, he worked hard to build the company to become one of the largest Design & Build construction firms in the Fraser Valley.
Dan is the Past President of the Fraser Valley branch of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA). He is an advocate for education in the industry and works collectively with like minded builders to improve the quality of homes being built as well as the building process from financing to city permits.
He married Randi in 2004 and they have 2 awesome and energetic boys. Dan and Randi work and play together on their 8 acre hobby farm in Abbotsford. Their family enjoys everything outdoors and love camping together.
Business Development, CFO + Owner
Dan and Randi started Stattonrock in 2007 with a passion to work hard and serve clients well. Randi jumped into many roles over the years including bookkeeping, marketing, business development and everything in between. 13 years later and with both kids in full time school, Randi has stepped into the role of CEO. She enjoys working with her Stattonrock teammates because they are the best professionals in the industry and their passion and commitment to the core values of Stattonrock shine through in everything they do. Randi enjoys adventuring with Dan and their 2 kids, and spending time with her community of incredible friends and family. In her spare time she enjoys tasting BC red wines and having naps.
Sales & Marketing Coordinator
Tanya is a new member to our team and is so wonderful to have on board! Tanya is our Sales and Marketing Coordinator. Tanya has worked in sales and management for over 5 years. She owned her own business for 9 years specializing in photographing families, weddings and newborns. Tanya likes Stattonrock’s forward-thinking ideas, such as, tiny houses, offices, and NetZero building for our environment footprint. Stattonrock’s passion for client and employee relationships, and Stattonrock’s transparent way of doing business. In Tanya’s spare time she is found caring for her kids and her unique rare houseplants. As well as hiking, kayaking and socializing with friends.
Project & Design Manager
Jodi is our Project + Design Manager. She has worked in the construction industry for the last 18 years starting as an Architectural Drafting Technologist and working her way up to managing the Design Team. She loves the collaborative environment at Stattonrock and how everyone works together towards the common goal of providing a beautiful home for our clients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, reading, sewing, and baking.
Drafting & Designer
Jacey is our Drafting Designer who drafts all plans and likes to get creative collaborating with the Interior Designers. She graduated from the Interior Design Program at BCIT in 2017. She enjoys working at Stattonrock because of the positive environment and being able to be creative with all the different projects going on! Jacey loves to go camping, hanging out with her family and friends and exploring new places with her pup.
Lead Interior Designer
Kate is Stattonrocks Lead Interior Designer. She has worked at Stattonrock since the summer of 2020. She has her Bachelor of Interior Design and has been involved in the construction industry for 11 years. Kate loves that she looks forward to coming to work every day. She enjoys the fun-loving energy that has made Stattonrock like a second family and an amazing place to work.
Brittany is our newest Interior Designer to join our team. She graduated with her Diploma in Architecture and Interior Design in December 2019. She has been doing freelance design work for the last few years and building up her knowledge of the industry. Brittany enjoys working at Stattonrock because everyone is looking to help each other grow in their role. In Brittany’s spare time, she likes to spend time with her dogs and family at her cabin or in the city.
Luca brings a wealth of knowledge and perspective from his years of world travel and education to his role as Designer at Stattonrock. He has worked in the Construction + Design industry for over 15 years across Italy, China, Taiwan and Portugal. Luca has completed a Double Masters Degree in Product Service System Design (Polytechnic of Milan, Italy – at Tongi University Shanghai, China) Bachelor Degree in Interior Design (Polytechnic of Milan, Italy), Naval Engineering Degree (at Naval Institute of Trieste, Italy). Luca enjoys working at Stattonrock because of the friendly environment and the family feeling that Stattonrock projects. In his spare time Luca likes to cook and explore beautiful BC.
Carol joined Stattonrock as Controller in 2017 to help run the financial side of the growing company. She has 38 years of experience in bookkeeping and administration. Her favorite part of working for Stattonrock is that they always put their employees and customers first! In her spare time, Carol enjoys spending time with her 5 grandchildren. She also enjoys RVing with her husband, although, a regular trip to Mexico is also welcomed!
Renee is the Office Administrator at Stattonrock. Renee completed her Human Resource Management from UFV in 2017. Renee enjoys working at Stattonrock because Stattonrock is the perfect blend of family and kinship + exceptional business practices. The leadership encourages each person to reach their personal and professional with a focus on a healthy work/life balance. In Renee’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, camping (glamping in a lakeside cabin), kayaking, reading, and crocheting, depending on the season!
Savannah joined the Stattonrock team in 2017 as Administrative Assistant. She brings a kind a joyful presence to the office and makes an amazing latte! She loves working for Stattonrock because of the positive and friendly atmosphere of the staff and clients! In her spare time, Savannah loves to settle down and read a good book, go camping and hiking, and spend time with family and friends.
Operations Manager & Project Manager
Ray is the Operations Manager at Stattonrock. He brings with him 38 years of industry experience. As well as being the Operations Manager, he also steps into the role of Project manager from time to time where he is responsible for overseeing multiple projects from start to finish. Ray loves working with the crew at Stattonrock as everyone is interested in learning the latest techniques and innovation in building. The team’s dedication to learning shows in the work they do.
Sean has been working in the construction industry since he was about 16 years old, doing every kind of construction from start to finish. He has received education and hands-on training in a multitude of trades including electrical, framing, plumbing, finishing and has multiple certifications for excavation operation, genie operation and Schluter water membrane application.
Sean really enjoys working for Stattonrock due to the company structure and collective personality. He enjoys how the core values of Stattonrock help to guide the employees, including himself, to reach their optimal potential. One of the things he enjoys the most about working for Stattonrock is the feeling of being part of a family: “Not only do they give so much back to the community, and beyond, they truly value their employees.”
In his spare time, Sean thoroughly enjoys gardening at home along with constant renovations and updates! He also loves the outdoors including hunting, fishing and camping. But his favourite way to spend his time is with his wife Julia, and their two kids, Christian & Scarlett!
Matthew is a Project Manager at Stattonrock. Matthew started in the construction industry in 1999. He says that the reason that he enjoys working at Stattonrock is the amazing culture built upon relationships and integrity. He loves the fact that so many of the trades that Stattonrock works with have the same opinion of us – they all want to work with us and feel fortunate to be a part of our process. Being built on a foundation of personal relationships and trust, he feels his work at Stattonrock is rewarding and fulfilling. In his Spare time Matthew loves spending time with his family. He has 4 kids and an amazing wife that he loves to spend time with and are always competing on some level. They love sports, especially baseball, and they try to find time every day to get out and do something physical like surfing, kayaking, baseball, and golf!
Chad has been with Stattonrock for 11 years and is in the role of Project Manager. He started as an Carpenters Apprentice and has achieved his Red Seal certification in Carpentry. Chad enjoys long walks on the beach while watching the sun go down. He also likes to enjoy the occasional brew from time to time.
Exterior Division Manager
Brandon is a Carpenter at Stattonrock, and has been in construction for 9 years. He loves the work Stattonrock does and loves taking pride in what he has built. In his spare time, Brandon loves to snowboard and be outdoors.
Conner has been working at Stattonrock as an Apprentice Carpenter and his completed his Level One Carpentry certificate. Conner enjoys working at Stattonrock because he has a great team to work with and enjoys learning new skills. In Conner’s spare time he likes to play football and video games.
Nathaniel is an Apprentice Carpenter at Stattonrock. He enjoys working at Stattonrock because everyone is very relational and they are a great group of people to work with. In his spare time Nathaniel enjoys doing photography and playing video games.
Landscaping & Yardwork
Caleb works in the Landscape Division at Stattonrock as well as helping out wherever someone needs a happy helping hand!
He enjoys working at Stattonrock because of the great community and lots of opportunity to move around and move up. In Caleb’s spare time he spends it working on his car and hanging out with friends.
Plumbing Division Manager
Cole has worked in plumbing for over 11 years and is a red seal plumber as well as a ticketed and licensed gas fitter.
The things that he enjoys most about his job is working with his co-workers and the vision behind the company. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.
Red Seal Plumber
Ben joined the Stattonrock team in 2019 to assist with our growing Plumbing Division. He has achieved his Red Seal Plumbing Certification as well as a Class B Gas Fitting Ticket and Confined Space training. Through hard work and dedication, Ben has quickly become a valuable asset to the Stattonrock team. He really appreciates the core values of Stattonrock and how they always strive for the greater good. Ben also enjoys working with a great group of people in a fast paced and challenging environment that allows him to use his imagination. In his spare time, Ben loves spending time with his family, as well as doing things outdoors, such as fishing, hunting, camping, bonfires, and going on road trips to other parts of the province.
Zsolt is an Apprentice Plumber and has been working for Stattonrock since early Summer of 2020 and has completed his Second Year Apprenticeship. Previous construction experience includes 2 years of commercial plumbing. In his opinion, what sets Stattonrock apart from other companies, is their view on family and the importance of community within the team. They’re always lifting each other up, sharing their vast knowledge of trades, and helping each other whenever there’s an opportunity without hesitation. Plumbing caught Zsolts attention when he realized how important it is to provide people with the basic necessity of water. In his spare time, he’s preparing for his first child who’s on the way. He love hiking, gardening, organic farming, taking his dog to the park, and having dinner parties with friends while playing board games.
Miles is the Machine Operator at Statonrock and is a ticketed Excavator Operator, Skid Steer Operator, and Truck Crane operator with over 8 years of industry experience. Since Miles joined Stattonrock in 2019, he has enjoyed the atmosphere created by the team and appreciates the office team who are just a phone call away and ready to help! In his spare time, Miles loves spending time with his beautiful wife and two-year-old son, as well as fishing, walking, and golfing.
Millwork Division Manager
Tyler is the Millwork Division Manager at Stattonrock. He has worked in the cabinet/millwork industry for 16 years. Tyler’s dad had a furniture business, so he has been around the industry from a young age. He enjoys working at Stattonrock because of the team atmosphere and how Stattonrock strives to improve and be better at what they do. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, go hiking with his wife, hunting, and the occasional game of golf.
Nolan is a new carpenter here at Stattonrock, he has been working on construction sites for 6 years but has been surrounded by the field for many more thanks to his Grandfather. He is actively working to finish his schooling to achieve his Red Seal Certification. Nolan enjoys working at Stattonrock because it is a well-established supportive team. Nolan enjoys music and playing guitar, reading, and spending time with his puppy Baloo that keeps Nolan and his wife busy.
